The Spatial CIMIS page provides the ability to view daily reference evapotranspiration (ETo), daily solar radiation (Rs), station location, and long-term average ETo zones maps and to generate daily ETo and Rs data at 2 km spatial resolution for the State of California.
The Spatial Model presents a brief description of the methodology used for developing spatially distributed data (maps) and provides links to useful resources for details.
The ETo Zones Map allows users to view the ETo Zones for the State of California. The map was developed by DWR and UC Davis and divides the State into 18 zones based on long-term monthly average ETo. At present time, the map is not available for downloading from the web.
The Logon page allows you to access the CIMIS database by entering your user name and password. You will be disconnected from the CIMIS database if there is no activity for 10 consecutive minutes.
Map Reports allows users to generate a report of ETo data at a 2 km spatial resolution for up to 10 selected points. Reports can be queried using point(s) on a Google maps interface or by zip codes.
