PREVAILING WINDS:
LOCAL CHARACTER: Located on the west side of the Sacramento River on the levee. The City of West Sacramento lies on the landside of the levee.
DESCRIPTION OF STATION SITE:
The station is installed on the grounds of a Department of Water Resources Field Flood Operations site. The station is a non-ETo station used primarily for research in the CIMIS program.
